When you start revising maths do in a systematic manner so that at the end you will definately feel that you know the subject in a proper manner.
As we all know that MHT-CET portion is based on HSC syllabus. So first always for any subject start revising the HSC syllabus but not to revise each and every part of it. Revise the general formulaes with the general example. No need to study theories in maths. Also no need to byheart proofs just remember the statements and results thats more than enough.
Starting with Mathematical Logic as I told earlier comparatively study with Boolean Algebra will help you to prepare better for both the chapters.Doing HSC for Mathematical Logic is more than enough. For extra practice solve a Worksheet of Uttams.
For Matrices first do selective questions of each type of HSC and then revise formula for MHT-CET from relevant books like pradnya, marvel, vidyabhartee. In these books there are many shortcuts and many new concepts which can be asked in MHT-CET but not in HSC. Solve more MCQ's for this chapter as variety of questions are asked every year in MHT-CET.
For Pair Of Lines revise all HSC formulas from Navneet and all G.T.B problems. For MHT-CET refer only pradnya. Everything is covered in that book. Preparation for this chapter from this 2 books is sufficient enough.
For Circle revise HSC formulas from Navneet and selected 2-3 numericals of each type. All the difficult sums of HSC Circle should be practiced in MHT-CET method by remembering shortcuts from relevant books posted in the blog. This chapter is slightly difficult so solve a Worksheet of Uttams.
For CONICS the DIFFICULT CHAPTER OF MATHEMATICS SYLLABUS a lot of efforts is require to achieve perfection. It will take time to achieve perfection but it will happen slowly and steadily. First revise the HSC formulas and proof results form Navneet properly. All G.T.B questions should be properly known as anything expected unexpected is asked from this chapter every year. The questions you find it difficult try to find their shortcuts from relevant books. Solve pradnya completely. It is required to achieve perfection as it is not easy to score full in this chapter. Write all HSC formulas of Navneet and MHT-CET formulas from relevant books mentioned in the blog. Try to revise this chapter as much as you can. These chapters are the deciding chapters in MHT-CET. Generally toppers lose marks in this chapter only. as there are lots of confusion in formulas.
For Vectors no need to see HSC except formulas. MHT-CET formulas should be pit-pat. There is a bit confusion always in students about the properties of Dot Product and Cross Product . So I request you to please write in page in a Distinguish type manner. It will help you to understand better and when you revise the second time it will get revised in a fast way. Solve only pradnya but solve every alternate sum no need to solve everything as there are many repetitive questions. For Applications Of Vectors revise formulas from Uttams and solve 1 Worksheet of Uttams which is sufficient for this chapter.
For 3-Dimensional Geometry do only HSC from Navneet that too the miscellaneous section of G.T.B. It is more than enough. Revise formulas too but from G.T.B and HSC both.
For Linear Programming problem do the theory part from G.T.B as theory questions which student neglect should actually not be neglected . there are some chances that it can come. Maximize and Minimize types of sums are the common questions asked in MHT-CET every year. Simplex Method which is not there in HSC is there in MHT-CET. So for shortcuts for Simplex Method refer any 1 of the relevant books mentioned in the blog.
For Probability study each and every problem of HSC as there are various types of sums which are totally different (Out of the World) type. Do HSC throughly is required for this chapter. Refer 2-3 relevant books for formulas for MHT-CET. Odds in favor, odds in against are also important questions . Solve a worksheet of Uttams.
